Learn Karate from a gold medalist who has represented England.

I have competed at world championship level

About My Karate Experience

I have represented England at an international level in Karate for 9 years, winning Bronze at the World Championships and receiving medals in various other competitions including a Gold at the British Open Nationals, so I understand what it takes to compete and win at the highest level.

After suffering a prolapsed disc in the midst of my competitive career, I had to use my skills and knowledge to train correctly and rehabilitate from the injury. Having also played county level in cricket, tennis, and water polo, I have the experience and knowledge to create a training regime to help you perform at your very best, whatever your sport.

Martial Arts

Although I do not offer general martial arts training, I do offer a ‘grade tutor’ style service. Much like an academic tutor might give a student additional help prior to important exams. Your training sessions will still be focused on fitness & training with pad work and form correction and I will decide on a client by client basis on how in-depth I am happy to go with martial arts techniques.

Sport Specific Training

No training program should neglect any one part of the body; however, we all know that different sports require different physical attributes.

It doesn’t matter whether you’re a tennis player needing extra shoulder strength for your service; a golfer needing to concentrate on back conditioning and core stability to improve your overall game, or a skier looking for that extra leg strength and endurance, I am here to help.

Give me a call and we can discuss how I can help YOU to improve your game.
